STEP OUT OF THE NOISE AND INTO SOMETHING WILDER ...

Ready to feel alive again ...

This eight-day retreat is an invitation to step out of the noise and into something wilder: ancient forests, mirror-still lakes, centuries-old traditions and the kind of unhurried time that's hard to find anywhere else. Set across Tallinn's cobbled streets and the breathtaking south Estonian countryside, Water, Wonder & Wildness is designed for women who are ready to feel alive again. From the moment you land, everything is taken care of. Your transport, your accommodation at the beautifully secluded RemoteNow, every breakfast and dinner, all your excursions and two dedicated guides who are with you every step of the way. All you need to do is book your flight and show up. Together we'll visit a smoke sauna, swim in bog lakes and open water, discover a cheese farm, make dumplings with local hands, and wander through wild places that ask nothing of you except to be present. There is also time - real time - for rest, reflection and creativity. This is not a tour. It's a reset.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Estonia, check into hotel in Tallinn

Our journey begins in Tallinn before we head into the Estonian countryside. Today is about checking into the hotel and adjusting to life in Tallinn city. After checking into the hotel there will be time to freshen up before joining the group for a welcome dinner in the old town.

Day 2 – City Day, Tallinn

After a gentle start we will gather as a group for a walking tour of the city. Tallinn’s old town, a UNESCO world heritage site, is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Northern Europe. Your introduction to the old town begins with a brief history of Estonia and Tallinn and continues with visits to the most interesting and significant sites of Lower and Upper Old Town, each with their own story to tell. After lunch at your leisure, you will have the afternoon to revisit parts of the city that captured your attention and have time to yourself. In the evening we will reconvene as a group to have a city sauna experience and dinner.

Day 3 – Travelling South…

After a early sea swim together, we will have breakfast and check-out of the city hotel. We will then travel to South Estonia, with a comfort break on route. In the afternoon we will check into RemoteNow for our countryside retreat. There will be a welcome swim in the bog-lake and chance to experience the floating sauna before we all settle down for dinner together.

Day 4 – Lake swimming & smoke sauna

After breakfast we will drive to nearby lakes for a morning immersion in nature, swimming at one of the many beautiful lakes in the area. After lunch we will head to Mooska to experience a smoke sauna, situated in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After dinner we will enjoy a film night at RemoteNow.

Day 5 – Setomaa Heritage Day

After an optional swim before breakfast at RemoteNow’s bog-lake we will travel to Setomaa for a walking tour of Obinista and visit to Kiiova Village. Learn about Seto culture and this special place in South Estonia. We will visit Ilmaveere for lunch, a place where to take it slow, bathe yourself in a variety of smells, tastes, and music, while enjoying the spectacular views of Lake Obinitsa. In the afternoon we will swim at Lake Obinitsa before heading back to RemoteNow for dinner and some freetime to relax and reflect.

Day 6 – Cheese & Dumplings

After breakfast at RemoteNow we will travel to Andre Farm, a special cheese farm where cows are called Mummukesed, they’re caressed and meditated with. Cows care about the people here and the people do everything possible that the animals have a safe and secure environment. Here we will have a tour, tastings and learn more about the special produce. In the afternoon we will carry on the foodie theme and learn how to make traditional Estonian dumplings, before travelling back to RemoteNow to cook them for dinner.

Day 7 – Nature walk, rest and reflection

Last full day of the trip, there will be an optional morning swim before breakfast before we will head to Taevaskoja for a guided nature walk. After lunch nearby, we will return to RemoteNow for rest, reflection and free time before our final dinner together. After dinner, we will enjoy a full-moon swim in the bog-lake and enjoy the floating sauna.
