Improvers - Formentera
- Multiple dates
- Formentera, Spain
- From £1,798pp
This trip is ideal for anyone looking to transition from pool to open water, or who would like to feel more confident swimming in the sea. The trip focuses on building an open water skillset and improving technique – designed to give you the confidence and tools to make you a happier, more confident open water swimmer. Breaststrokers and front crawl swimmers are welcome.
Formentera is famous for its dazzlingly crystal clear waters and long stretches of white beach, backed by dunes and pine trees. John Coningham-Rolls has a long-standing history with Formentera: his grandparents owned a villa (Can Rolls) in the 50s, and since then John, and now SwimQuest, have maintained a relationship with the island. Formentera has a magnetic pull for so many of our guests, who return year after year for the ice white sand and and turquoise blue sea.
Highlights
Build confidence, zero pressure
These weeks are designed to help you build confidence and fall in love with the ocean. Our guides are kind and joyfully supportive.
Our home for the week
Our base is the friendly Hotel Roca Bella, situated between two beautiful bays, on the beach of Es Pujols, moments away from Pujols town. Roll out of bed and into the sea.
Sea like a swimming pool
The Posedonia sea grass growing Formentera keeps the water astoundingly clear. You've never seen turquoise like this!
Ibiza's laid back little sister
Formentera is the smallest of Spain’s Balearic islands. Unlike Ibiza, Formentera retains a laid-back atmosphere.
