Turkey - Family Week Itinerary
Nature and the weather can be unpredictable, so your flexibility is important. All swims are planned with safety at their heart, and your guides will adapt the plan day by day to ensure the best possible experience. Want to sit out part of a swim? Just let the guides know and hop back on the boat – no problem at all.
Arrival & acclimatisation
Once you arrive at the hotel after your transfer, the guides will introduce themselves and show you to your rooms – leaving time to settle in before our welcome meeting and briefing. We will head down to the Hotel Sea Lido for our first dip as a group and a chance to get used to the water in a safe environment before we venture out further afield.
Cinar Beach and pod swimming
Sail to Limanza Bay
Today we meet our lovely local boat pilot for the week, Ufuk – who will be looking after us along with his wife and showing us some of the best swimming this area has to offer. Jump on board the gulet and swing your feet over the side as the boat sails towards our first adventure swim spot in Limanza Bay. keep a look out for the ancient Lycian burial chambers hewn into the rocks that overlook the bay. In the afternoon, we will make our first inter island crossing before returning to the hotel for showers and a swimming themed quiz.
Coastal swims and fresh fish on board
This morning we are up and off for a fantastic day of swimming alongside the Gulet! Watch out for turtles as we explore this stunning area of coastline. Hop back on board for freshly caught fish and some down time, or enjoy some play time in the water jumping off the boat platform, before a coastal swim in the afternoon.
Visiting the Sunken City
Today we enjoy an early breakfast before jumping on board a minibus and travelling to visit the sunken city. Today our swims are more leisurely, taking in the stunning scenery with short swims off the tripper boat.
Swimming the seven islands
After breakfast, we are back on the Gulet and heading out for our final day of swimming. Today we motor towards the Seven Islands for incredible inter-island and circumnavigation swims around the Heybeli, Bayrak, Kovan, and Kovanali.
