Nature and the weather can be unpredictable, so your flexibility is important. All swims are planned with safety at their heart, and your guides will adapt the plan day by day to ensure the best possible experience. Want to sit out part of a swim? Just let the guides know and hop back on the boat — no problem at all.

Saturday

Arrival and Acclimatisation

Your Croatia adventure begins. After settling in to your bungalow, the group gathers for a safety briefing covering swim routes, conditions and preparation – before heading into the warm, clear waters of Palmizana bay for your first acclimatisation swim. Dinner follows, with the week ahead to look forward to.

Sunday

Into the Islands

AM: Coastal swim, Paklinski Octi Island (1.5km) | PM: Otocic Island swim (1.5km)

An easy, beautiful start. Your first swim follows the coastline from Meneghello’s private beach, winding south-west through glassy water before looping back into the bay. After a home-cooked lunch, your guides film your stroke above and below the water, then it’s back in for a swim out to a nearby otočić (Croatian for small islet). That evening, watch your footage back with your guides and see exactly where the week’s improvements will come from.

Monday

Circumnavigation and exploring further afield

AM: Otok Borovak & Planikovak (2-3km) | PM: St Klement coastline (2-3km)

After breakfast you’ll board the boats and head out to Otok Borovak, swimming around the island before crossing to neighbouring Planikovak. After lunch, you’ll set off from Meneghello’s beach and push further along the wild, wooded northern coastline of St Klement – getting into your stride and starting to feel the magic of swimming in this extraordinary place.

Tuesday

Dramatic morning swim and a secret bay

AM: Dobri Otok | PM: Secret bay swim (optional island walk)

A highlight of many guests’ weeks. This morning’s swim around Dobri Otok rewards you with dramatic deep blue swimming and sun-warmed water. After lunch, choose your own adventure – walk through the pine-scented island to a secluded bay, or take the boat if you’d rather save your legs. Either way, you’ll finish with a gentle dip in a spot very few people find.

Wednesday

AM: Swim to Pelorus Bay (3km) | PM: At leisure – a chance to explore Hvar Old Town

This morning’s swim takes you along the south coast of Palmizana to the sheltered waters of Pelorus Bay, a gorgeous, unhurried swim through some of the most beautiful scenery of the week. After lunch, the afternoon is yours. Jump on the boat to Hvar and lose yourself in one of the Croatia’s most beautiful old towns – marble streets, a hilltop fortress, and sun-drenched café terraces. As the sun goes down, pull up a chair in Hvar Old Town and eat well. You’ve earned it.

Thursday

The perfect ending

AM: Swim to Duboka Bay (3km) | PM: Vlaka Island & Fisherman’s Bay (2km)

The last full day of swimming, and it doesn’t disappoint. This morning you’ll trace the so coast of St Klement, weaving in and out of stunning inlets before finishing in the crystal waters of Duboka Bay. In the afternoon, conquer Vlaka Island and settle in for lunch at the legendary Fisherman’s Restaurant before heading back to Meneghello’s for a well-deserved evening on the terrace.

Friday

The perfect ending. For those not catching the early ferry, the week closes with a short sunrise swim in the bay. Then it’s time to pack, say your goodbyes, and head home a better, smilier swimmer than you arrived.
