There are two planned swims per day based on how you progress during the week. Most days will also involve a swim seminar, or video feedback session. The below is a very rough guide and we will adapt the week carefully for each individual. Nature and the weather can be unpredictable, so your flexibility is important. All swims are planned with safety at their heart, and your guides will adapt the plan day by day to ensure the best possible experience.

Saturday

Welcome and acclimatisation

We will meet at 4pm for the mandatory safety briefing before heading down to the beautiful hotel bay for a short acclimatisation swim. This first swim gives the coaching team the opportunity to understand where everyone is at (no right or wrong here!), discuss your personal goals for the week ahead. Afterwards we’ll relax over dinner and chat through the exciting journey from breaststroke to front crawl.

Sunday

The foundations of front crawl

After breakfast we will introduce the key building blocks of an efficient front crawl stroke. Through simple exercises, and plenty of individual coaching, you’ll begin to feel more confident putting your head in the water and getting to grips with basic breathing techniques. After lunch, we head to the pool to add the next steps into the process, thinking about body positioning and how this is connected to the breathing we worked on this morning.

Monday

Rhythm and flow

As your confidence grows, we’ll introduce the importance of timing, rhythm and propulsion. You’ll learn how to move efficiently through the water using less effort, with plenty of opportunities to practise your new stroke both in the pool and during a beautiful coastal swim.

Tuesday

Arms and legs – demystifying front crawl

Today’s sessions break front crawl down into simple, easy-to-understand movements. We’ll explore the role of the arms, legs, and rotation – helping you understand what really creates propulsion and how to move through the water with less effort. Through a combination of drills, individual coaching and a relaxed open water swim, you’ll discover that front crawl is far less complicated than it first appears, leaving you with a smoother, more coordinated and more efficient stroke.

Wednesday

Open water skills

Today is all about putting your front crawl into practice ad enjoying the underwater world whilst doing so. We’ll build confidence swimming in the sea while introducing simple open water skills such as sighting, swimming in a group and adapting to different conditions. There will also be opportunities for individual coaching and plenty of encouragement as you continue to develop your stroke.

Thursday

Personalised action plans – look how far you’ve come!

This is your last full day of swimming with two great seas swims. By now you’ll have come a long way. Today’s sessions focus on helping you swim further with less effort, refining your technique and building confidence over longer swims. We’ll re-film your stroke so you can see just how much you’ve improved before creating a personalised action plan to help you continue your front crawl journey when you return home. We’ll celebrate the week’s achievements over our final dinner together.

Friday

Short bay swim

As this is the last day, there will be a short pre-breakfast sunrise bay swim as you will need to pack and prepare for your ferry back to Ibiza.
