Heather Isetts
Heather is a competitive swimmer, athlete, and coach with a lifelong passion for helping others achieve their goals in the water. A former USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and 100-yard freestyle State Champion, she was selected to train at the US Olympic Training Center and was honored with the creation of the Heather Isetts Scholar-Athlete Award for excellence in academics and athletics. She continued her swimming career at the University of Georgia, where she competed and held a leadership position on the club team.
More recently, Heather has competed in several triathlons and open-water competitions, winning gold in her age group and placing in the top 10 among females in both the Hellespont and Narrows crossings. As her full-time career, she is the Director of Sales for a US-based logistics company, so SwimQuest and other competitive endeavors have become the perfect outlet for her passions of swimming and travel.
After nearly 20 years as a pool swimmer, I began my open-water journey and quickly learned what I’d been missing: immersion in nature, freedom from endless laps, and a welcoming and encouraging community like no other. My latest love is taking in the seascapes alongside guests and guides, and sharing not only my water obsession but my years of expertise in swimming technique. When a sparkling sea or perfect wave brings you to tears, you know you’ve found your home at SwimQuest. I look forward to sharing a swim and a laugh with you on the next tour!
