Bryony Lishman is a lifelong islander with an infectious passion for the Isles of Scilly and the sea that surrounds them. Owner of Mincarlo, one of St Mary’s most loved guesthouses, and co-founder of Adventure Scilly, and the Scilly Swim Challenge – Bryony has spent years helping visitors discover the islands through swimming, walking, yoga and outdoor adventure.
Her deep and extensive local knowledge, warm hospitality and incredible connection to the islands make her the perfect person to introduce swimmers to the magic of Scilly. Whether she’s leading a yoga session, sharing island stories, or helping guests plan their next adventure, Bryony brings warmth, energy and enthusiasm to our SwimQuest adventures on Scilly.
I feel incredibly lucky to call the Isles of Scilly home. There's nothing I enjoy more than sharing these beautiful islands with swimmers – especially watching someone experience the magic of Scilly for the very first time. Every day here feels like an adventure, and it's a privilege to share that.
