Official Training partner for Sink or Swim

We’ve teamed up with channel 4 and stand up to cancer to coach 11 celebrities through this exciting challenge

Here at SwimQuest we are so excited to have been appointed to provide the swim training team for the new 4-part large-scale celebrity series, Sink or Swim in support of Stand Up to Cancer.

In partnership with Channel 4 and Twofour, part of ITV Studios, SwimQuest’s expert swim guides and coaches will be supporting the cast of famous faces – complete non-swimmers themselves, those with a fear of open water or those who have been taught to swim as children but now struggle to do so for health reasons – as they face this challenge and are pushed to their absolute limits.

Six SwimQuest guides and coaches will be working alongside Olympic silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne and adventurer Ross Edgley (best known for being the first person in history to swim around Great Britain) to coach the celebrities.

Together, SwimQuest’s experts will offer vital training and support to transform the celebrities into swimmers capable of taking on a series of epic challenges. Each episode will culminate in an ambitious swim, and the celebrities left standing (or in this case, swimming) will attempt to take part in a punishing English Channel challenge.

In addition, SwimQuest are also providing location advice, open water event management and open water expertise in order to set up the training and challenges for this series.

We are so honoured to be working with Channel 4, SU2C and TwoFour on this exciting new project. We are passionate about open water swimming and will do all we can to encourage more people to discover the joy and freedom of swimming outdoors without fear. SwimQuest has always been about enabling open water journeys for everyone, and we can’t wait to guide this fabulous group of celebrities in their quest to achieve their goals and face these swimming challenges.
