Charlie Beere
Charlie is the engine room of SwimQuest. As our Finance and Supplier Director, she is the calm, organised presence behind every successful trip, ensuring thousands of moving parts come together seamlessly so that our guests can simply focus on enjoying the water.
Charlie’s relationship with swimming began long before she joined the SwimQuest team. At just seven years old, she decided she wanted to swim the English Channel, spending countless childhood summers in the pool dreaming of the challenge ahead. In 2014, that dream became reality when she attended a SwimQuest Channel and Distance week, and went onto successfully completed her English Channel solo. Since then, she has continued to push herself, including a 15km backstroke crossing of Lake Annecy and an English Channel relay, while helping countless others achieve goals they once thought impossible.
Since joining SwimQuest, Charlie has become one of the people guests know and trust most. Whether she’s helping someone choose their very first swimming holiday, solving a last-minute travel challenge, supporting guides across the world or keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes, she approaches everything with patience, kindness and meticulous attention to detail. When she’s not curating spreadsheets (!) you’ll find Charlie organising her farm, riding horses and training sheepdogs!
Over the past 12 years, it has been amazing to watch SwimQuest grow. We've welcomed guests who have become lifelong friends, and we've seen so many people take their first tentative strokes in open water before going on to achieve incredible swims they never thought possible.
