Tamsin Gale
Tamsin has loved the water for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she spent countless hours at her grandparents’ home in Cornwall, where she developed a deep connection with the ocean that has stayed with her ever since.
Today, Tamsin is the Head Coach for Love Open Water at London Royal Docks. She is a qualified STA Open Water Coach and holds the STA Award in Teaching Swimming. She discovered open water swimming almost 10 years ago and quickly fell in love with the sport. What started as a personal challenge soon became a huge part of her life and ultimately led her into coaching.
Over the years, Tamsin has completed a number of endurance swims, including the 21km Vidösternsimmet in Sweden, the Dart 10K, Thames Marathon, Dock2Dock, Hurly Burly 10K, Swoosh 6K, and a Channel Relay crossing.
Open water swimming has given me some of my greatest adventures, strongest friendships, and a real sense of freedom. Being able to help others discover the same joy in the sport is what makes it so special to me.
