EXPLORE JERSEY’S RUGGED COASTLINES, HIDDEN BAYS AND STUNNING COVES FROM A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON THIS WINTER SWIM AND WALK WEEKEND.This trip is a unique opportunity to experience the best swimming Jersey has to offer, with gentle coastal walks and bracing ocean dips. Our swims on this tour are planned extremely carefully, taking into account Jersey’s large and powerful tides and the chilly water temperature at this time of year. This is a fun and friendly tour, everyone with a pair of walking boots, a cossie and a sense of adventure is welcome.
ABOUT JERSEYThe largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey is an open water swimmer’s dream destination. Its astonishing tides have shaped the island, leaving a fantastic variety of coastline: long sandy bays in the south, and dramatic rugged coastal cliffs in the north. Jersey lies in the English Channel, about 22km from the Contention Peninsula in Normandy, and about 160km south of Great Britain. The temperate climate means relatively mild winters, and long warm summers.
ABOUT ST BRELADES BAY HOTELOur base for the Jersey winter weekend is the St Brelades Bay Hotel. With unspoilt views of the Atlantic Ocean and sandy St Brelades bay on the doorstep, this is an ideal place to cosy up for a weekend of swimming and walking adventure.
