SATURDAY 8TH DECEMBER
CASSIE PATTEN’S open water skills WORKSHOP
4PM – 6.30PM HAMPTON OPEN AIR POOL

SATURDAY 19TH JANUARY 2019
james goddard’S DIVING & TUMBLE-TURN WORKSHOP
4PM – 6.30PM HAMPTON OPEN AIR POOL

Many of our guests who have learnt to swim as adults do not know how to tumble turn or dive into a pool with confidence. This is a great opportunity to learn these skills from scratch from Olympian James Goddard. After having explained the skills with a short land based seminar, we will head to the pool to practice these new skills, closely supervised by James and the SwimQuest guides.
Suitable for all ability levels, however we advise you should have some pool experience and be able to swim 100m comfortably without stopping.

SATURDAY 9TH FEBRUARY 2019
CASSIE PATTEN’S FRONT CRAWL CATCH WORKSHOP
4PM – 6.30PM HAMPTON OPEN AIR POOL

Back by popular demand, during this session Olympic Medallist Cassie Patten talks us through the underwater phase of the front crawl stroke (also known as “the catch”) in detail, demystifying what is for many people the most difficult part of the stroke technique. Suitable for all ability levels, however we advise you should have some pool experience and be able to swim 100m comfortably without stopping.

SATURDAY 16TH MARCH 2019
JAMES GODDARD’S BREASTSTROKE WORKSHOP
4PM – 6.30PM HAMPTON OPEN AIR POOL

During this session you will learn how to swim with a smooth, effective and powerful breaststroke. James breaks down the stroke into parts, enabling us to tackle each movement bit by bit. At the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to put it all back together again and will be given tips on how to improve your skills in this stroke and incorporate breaststroke drills into your pool training, to really make the most of your time in the pool. Suitable for all ability levels, however we advise you should have some pool experience and be able to swim 25m comfortably without stopping. The group will be divided into ability lanes.
